Last updated 22 October 2026
Introduction
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of doctassist.com, the DoctAssist web app, the DoctAssist mobile apps, clinic pages, online booking and related services, made by ProEmTech Infosystems Private Limited ("ProEmTech").
By accessing, registering for, trying, subscribing to or otherwise using DoctAssist, the user or clinic agrees to these Terms of Service.
Ownership of software and technology
DoctAssist and all ProEmTech software, source code, modules, databases, integrations, APIs, interfaces, documentation and related technology remain the sole and exclusive intellectual property of ProEmTech. This includes DoctAssist, ProMed, ProMed UK, ProMed Insight AI, BoardUZZ, LabNetX, FeedUZZ, oNext, Anges, UrgenZ and their applications, extensions and future products.
No ownership, intellectual property right, source code entitlement or platform control right passes to any clinic, user, reseller or partner.
Licence to use
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, a clinic gets a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable subscription to use DoctAssist for its own internal work. It does not include any right to:
- copy the platform beyond permitted use
- sublicense, resell, lease, distribute or commercially exploit the platform
- access or demand source code
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to derive how the platform works
- create derivative platforms based on ProEmTech intellectual property
- remove branding, notices or rights statements unless expressly agreed
- claim ownership of customised versions, configurations, modules, interfaces or AI outputs of ProEmTech systems unless ProEmTech agrees in writing
Platform control and maintenance
DoctAssist stays under the technical and operational control of ProEmTech, which may:
- update the service and fix vulnerabilities
- improve or change features
- change infrastructure
- make performance or security improvements
- suspend or restrict access where reasonably needed for security, maintenance, compliance, non-payment, misuse or breach of contract
Clinic and user responsibilities
Clinics and users are responsible for:
- using DoctAssist only as authorised
- keeping logins and devices secure
- using the service lawfully
- making sure the clinic's staff follow these terms
- making sure their use suits their own clinic's rules and local regulations
- not misusing or trying to compromise the service's security or stability
Prohibited conduct
Users must not:
- try to get unauthorised access
- interfere with the service's availability
- upload malicious code
- misuse integrations
- scrape, extract or harvest the platform or its data without authorisation
- use the service in unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or harmful ways
- present ProEmTech technology as their own
Fees, subscription and payment
DoctAssist is a subscription. A clinic chooses a plan and monthly or yearly renewal, at the price shown for its country; plans may start with a free trial. Fees are payable as invoiced and are non-refundable except as set out in the Refund Policy.
Service availability
We aim to keep DoctAssist reliably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Short interruptions may happen for maintenance, updates, hosting events, connectivity problems, security measures or reasons beyond our reasonable control.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ProEmTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses or business interruption, including loss of profits, goodwill or opportunity, or loss from misuse, unauthorised use, third-party or connectivity failures, the clinic's own errors or events outside ProEmTech's reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Clinical responsibility
DoctAssist supports clinic work: booking, queues, records, prescriptions, billing and communication. Clinical judgement, medical decisions and the running of the clinic remain the responsibility of the qualified professionals and the clinic.
Suspension and termination
ProEmTech may suspend or end access where there is:
- breach of contract
- non-payment
- a security risk
- unlawful conduct
- misuse of the service
- reputational or regulatory risk
- attempted interference with ProEmTech's systems or rights
When access ends, it stops in line with the contract, the law and data handling requirements.
Governing law
These terms are read under the governing law stated in the applicable agreement. Without one, ProEmTech may state the applicable framework based on the contracting entity and the country of service.
